Sincette

Polpenazze del Garda (BS)

The Sincette farm, a farmhouse dating back to 1853 and originally called Cascina La Pertica, was purchased in 1979 by Giovanni Battista Brunori, who, together with his son Ruggero, decided to transform it into a true winery.

Located on the western shore of Lake Garda (province of Brescia, Lombardy), in a food and wine area known as Valtenesi, Sincette rests on the so-called morainic hills, sandy and clayey geological formations formed following the melting of the great Garda glacier.

Over the years, Giovanni Battista Brunori purchased land adjacent to the farmhouse, bringing the total area to 35 hectares. This was subsequently divided as follows: 12.5 hectares of vineyards (Groppello, Marzemino, Barbera, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot), 5.5 hectares of olive groves (Leccino, Casaliva, and Moraiolo), 13 hectares of arable land (wheat, barley, and alfalfa), and the remainder to biodiversity.
