Cà Maiol

A farmhouse dating back to 1710 and the surrounding lands near the southern shores of Lake Garda were the inspiration that gave rise to the winery in 1967. The location was chosen not only for its unique microclimate, but also because history teaches us that quality wine has a long tradition in these areas. The founder's passion for these lands and for the grapes that gave rise to Lugana led him, along with other winemakers, to engage in the development of the area, contributing to the creation of the Consortium for the Protection of Lugana DOC. The estate today boasts 118 hectares of vineyards around Lake Garda: to the south, in Lugana, and to the west, in Valtènesi.

In 2017, Cà Maiol became part of the Herita Marzotto Wine Estates winemaking mosaic.

Following the idea of wine as the fruit of cultivation in harmony with the forces of nature, at Cà Maiol even the agronomic and oenological choices reflect this philosophy. In the vineyard, responsible agriculture towards the ecosystem and its inhabitants is a present commitment to preserving its future. In the cellar, technology serves ancient knowledge to enhance the innate viticultural heritage of these places.

Cà Maiol is located in the heart of Lugana, among vibrant vineyards and ancient farmhouses. The building, dating back to 1710, now houses the sales management, is adjacent to a spacious showroom. Blending seamlessly with its surroundings, the space welcomes visitors with guided tours and tastings, as well as a retail shop.
