The Avanzi family's passion for vineyards and wine became a business in 1931, the year Giovanni Avanzi began making wine from his own grapes.

Now in its third generation, Avanzi is present in Lombardy's three main appellations with four estates totaling 40 hectares of vineyards. From the delicateness of Groppello della Valtènesi to the minerality of Lugana (Bragagna) clay, to the power and longevity of Montecorno reds, Avanzi captures the finest expression of each terroir in its glass. In its estate-owned mill, the Avanzi family also produces a very low-acid extra virgin olive oil, the prized Garda DOP Extra Virgin Olive Oil. They care for the land and its fruits through continuous renewal, always remaining deeply rooted in tradition.
